Anita Køtlum Petersen. Born 1968 in the northernmost village on the Faroe Islands, where sheep and knitting women were part of her daily life. Resident of Denmark since 2003, where she is working as an artist, mostly painting motives from “home”.

Living creatures, especially rams and sheep in general, are common motifs in Anita's art, depicted in vivid colours which give them an unique expression. Her playing with words and sayings, mainly sheep-spellings in danish often makes people laugh.
